This isn’t the first time that Martina has teamed up with PETA to help animals. She has hosted a donated fur-coat giveaway for the needy in Colorado, starred in a pro-vegetarian ad that launched PETA’s “Live and Let Live” Campaign, and called on Australia’s prime minister to ban lamb mutilations and live-sheep exports by the Australian wool industry. For her outstanding efforts to help stop animal suffering, Martina received a special award at PETA’s 25th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards Show last month. The winner of this auction will be able schedule a one-hour tennis lesson and a vegan lunch at a mutually agreed upon time and place within six months of the closing date of the auction. The winner will be responsible for his or her transportation costs to and from the lesson and lunch.

The Range Rover which the Prince of Wales allegedly drove on his first date with Diana, Princess of Wales, is up for auction on eBay.
The 1978 vehicle is also thought to have been used during the couple's engagement in February 1981 and on their honeymoon at Balmoral that summer.
One photograph also depicts Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles (now his second wife, the Duchess of Cornwall) having tea on the vehicle's tailgate during a hunting party in Gloucestershire in 1979.

The auction is scheduled to end on 11/10. The bidding was up to GBP 17,300 (US $30,292.30) when we posted this note although there is a reserve set on the auction which has not yet been met.

Since the world loves all things Diana, assuming this is the real thing, we're willing to bet that the bidding will be much higher. Nice timing on the part of the seller to coincide with the visit of Charles and Camilla to the US where Camilla's reception seems to have been fairly tepid.

A MAN is selling himself on auction website eBay as a hunkof"prime Scottish beef". Unlucky-in-love Lawrence Hunter, 36, is asking potential suitors for bids over £1.
The painter and decorator, of Whitburn, West Lothian, has received no offers so far.
But last night, he remained hopeful and said: "I am just looking for someone to have fun with.
"I'm quite fussy and have just not met the right girl yet."
Lawrence's brother Fraser suggested posting him on the website in a bid to find his perfect match.
And bespectacled Lawrence - who has a receding hairline and lives with his dad - agreed in the hope of finding true love.

His eBay listing boasts: "You are bidding on this prime chunk of Scottish beef It describes Lawrence as a "hunk" and points out a unique selling point - he remembers to put the toilet seat down.
The listing reads: "This man is fully house trained, is good in the garden, is a professional painter and general handyman.
"He is a gentleman of the 1969 vintage and has had one lady owner - his mum.
"He is guaranteed fully operational and is also guaranteed to leave the toilet seat down.
"This hunk is six feet tall and weighs about 13 stone."
In the space where sellers must list the condition of their item, Lawrence is described as "used".
Lawrence said: "My brother is always trying to match me up with people.
"The last girl was a schoolteacher and she didn't want to go out to clubs as much as me, so we never really hit it off.
"I don't take life very seriously and I'm looking for someone similar.
